How I Do My Voice Recordings

The way I get the quality in my vocal recordings is one to be in a totally silent space. I have a sound room that I built for myself.

I use my Tascam recorder ($300) with a one directional microphone ($120).

I then take the recorded files and edit them with garage band on my apple.

If I am traveling and I need to do a recording I do it with my edirol recorder ($450) and a radioshack lavaliere.

I record in a wave format.

Very easy and you can do it for less that $500.
